Our two previous Level
One workshops were filled to capacity. On the
weekend of May 30-June 1, 2008, The Human Awareness Institute will be
holding its third Canadian Level 1 workshop in Love, Intimacy and
Sexuality, at the exquisite
Mysthaven Country Retreat and Spa in Stouffville, Ontario. 
Entitled
The Miracle of Love. All HAI
workshops provide a safe, nurturing way to learn intimate communication
and improve relationships. Please feel free to check

read it). I invite you to print it out to put up in appropriate
places.
To learn more about the workshop, come to a free Introduction to Intimacy.
It's an experiential 2 hour mini workshop comprised
of exercises and group sharing rather
than lecture, in which participants explore ways of
increasing intimacy in their lives. The tools offered
can be taken to the family, workplace, and to casual
relationships as well as partnerships. Guided by the
facilitators (Eric often works with partners),
participants create a safe, trusting
environment which acts as a laboratory for exploration into
intimacy. Issues explored:
 | Safety: How can we create safety around us so
that we can be ourselves, where our vulnerability will
be honoured? |
| Choice: How often do we relinquish our choice
and do "what is expected of us?" The
workshop helps us examine our relationship to choice,
how we can increase our awareness of choice, and expand
our choices in our day-to-day lives. |
| Communication: The workshop exercises look at
focus, active listening, responding without fixing,
sharing time. |
| Intimacy: What is love? What is Intimacy?
What are we saying when we hug? What is the person
saying who is hugging us? How can we make a space of
safety for people to express themselves? |
