For those who haven’t visited, Second Fiddle is Diana’s brain child. She loves to collect, so in line with Newton’s second law of garage sale physics (what gets bought must be sold) and Bernoulli’s third principle of clutter (an inlet needs an outlet) the store is an eclectic collection of Canadian cultural expression.
We have odds and ends of all kinds from pottery to pictures, DVDs to dinner plates, books to banjos.
We have become known among the cognoscenti as the place for silver jewellery. Diana’s sharp eye and discerning taste have enabled her to secure lovely pendants, rings, bracelets and necklaces with stones set in 925 silver at surprisingly low prices.
We love stones, and so you’ll find beautiful crystal pieces of quartz, amethyst, fluorite, and much more. There’s a little shelf with prayer wheels and singing bowls from Tibet, and another with hand-crafted Navaho turquoise and silver. There are dragon bracelets from China, exquisite rings from Afghanistan, Alpaca from Mexico, trinkets from Peru and more.
